AJ comes from 10+ years of daily operations and management of his family’s pocket manufacturing company in southeastern Michigan. Pocket door frames, bypass and bifold hardware kits, pre-hung doors, and commercial pre-finished doors are like a second language to him. When the opportunity presented itself to launch into the southeastern market in the US, he jumped at it. Eager to write his own story, the challenge of starting and operating this business was something he was up for. It simply became a matter of figuring out what the best way was to provide a solid, quality product at a high volume capacity to support the needs of the tremendous growth the southern part of the country has seen over the last several years, especially in Florida. AJ grew up in a small agricultural town in Michigan where he played football and was involved in mixed martial arts throughout his school years. Throughout childhood and continuing into his life today, he has always been drawn to the outdoors and physical activity. Whether it’s spending time on the water, backpacking, biking, snowboarding, you name it - it’s got his attention. After graduating from high school, he became a licensed builder while working as third-generation for his family’s business and started a small custom home building company. Realizing there was a passion to serve others that needed to be met, he became a firefighter and EMT in 2015 and has been active as a paid-on-call fireman since. A healthy blend of serving the community, being involved directly in new home builds, and managing his 9-5 in the manufacturing world has been a great foundation builder and lesson teacher for growing Precision Door Systems.

Kyle brings a 10+ year career in automotive manufacturing and industrial automation, with a background in robotics and welding. Although wood products are not welded, the manufacturing and machine building experience he brings is a fresh take in the rough millwork industry. He is actively bringing some new ideas to the door frame manufacturing world. Kyle also grew up in a small southeastern Michigan town where you could find him on the lake, the golf course or up north in the winters on the ski hill. Growing up he always had tools in his hands, working in the garage on anything and everything he was always eager to learn how things were built. After high school Kyle attended Ferris State University where he earned a BS in Welding Engineering Technology. This took him on a path of contract engineering throughout the US working in automotive manufacturing plants. Most recently he worked for an OEM welding equipment supplier as an applications sales engineer for robotic welding applications. Kyle is eager to begin this next chapter alongside AJ to build a company and team capable of supplying high quality products to a growing market in southeast US.
